Pamban Bridge, Tamil Nadu

The cantilever railway bridge is the second longest sea bridge in India (after Bandra-Worli Sea Link). The Pamban Bridge is India’s first sea bridge and third longest rail bridge in India, build across the Palk Strait water body. It is also known as Rameshwaram bridge as it is located in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu and connects Rameswaram island to mainland of India. There is also a two lanes Pamban Road Bridge running parallel to the cantilever railway bridge.
